IF YOU WERE WORKING FOR THE UN, WHICH JOB WOULD LIKE TO DO USING YOUR ENGLISH ABILITIES? WHY?
I would like to work as a public relations officer if I were working for the UN.
The UN hosts periodic events for everyone, regardless of age, sex or nationality. I want to create advertisements which could attract a lot of interest, in Japanese, English and French. Comming up with the design and style be liked by all sounds really fun, cause I am interested in the advertisement so much.

HOMEWORK - Personal Space
1. YOU'RE TALKING TO A CO-WORKER. HOW CLOSE DO YOU STAND?
i stand 1 or 2 metres away, but it depends on the person.
2. YOU'RE TALKING TO A FRIEND. DO YOU TOUCH EACH OTHER?
if she/he is a close friend, i often touch each other. but i don't touch friends who are not so close to me. cause i don't want her/him to think that i am overly familiar.
3. LOOK AT THE DIAGRAM OF A WAITING ROOM. WHERE DO YOU SIT WHEN YOU ENTER?
i sit the next to the upper left corner. i want to seat where i can see who is comming.
4. YOU'RE IN THE CLOWDED ELEVATOR. WHERE DO YOU LOOK?
i look at the numbers, bend down my head or look around others.
5. YOU'RE STANDING IN LINE. HOW CLOSE DO YOU STAND TO THE PERSON IN FRONT?
1 or 2 metres away.
6. YOU GET ON THE BUS. THERE IS AN EMPTY ROW OF SEATS AT THE BACK, AND AN EMPTY SEAT CLOSE BY. WHERE DO YOU SIT?
i basically sit the seat close by. but when it is in the sun, i prefer the row of seats at the back.
7. YOU'RE IN A LIBRARY AND THERE'S AN EMPTY SEAT BESIDE YOU. DO YOU WANT TO STOP SOMEONE SITTING THERE? IF SO, HOW?
yes, cause it is difficult to concentrate something i do when someone is beside me. so i put my bag there from when i came.
8. YOU'RE GOING TO THE BEACH. DO YOU LIKE TO SEE LOTS OF PEOPLE OR VERY FEW?
i prefer to see very few people. i don't like any clowded places so much.
9. WHEN YOU'RE TALKING TO SOMEONE, DO YOU LOOK THEM IN THE EYE?
yes, i try to do this. the eye contact is important when we communicate with others.
10. YOU'RE ON A TRAIN. DO YOU TALK TO THE OTHER PASENGERS?
no, i don't talk to the others cause i almost always sleep on the train.
i stand 1 or 2 metres away, but it depends on the person.

HOMEWORK - Family Life
1. WHEN DO CHILDREN USUALLY LEAVE HOME?
It depends on the people and families.
I think people usually leave home at 18 or 22 when they graduated from high school or university. But I'm still at home..
2. HOW MANY PEOPLE LIVE IN YOUR HOME?
5 people live in my home: my father, mother, grandmother, uncle and me.
3. DO YOU HAVE A HEAD OF THE FAMILY?
Yes, my father is the head of the family. He goes through procedures for almost everything, though my mother has more power in my house.
4. WHO DOES THE HOUSEWORK?
My mother does almost all housework, but she goes to work from Monday to Friday. She is the busiest person in my house so my father and I often help her when we come home early.
5. WHO RUNS THE FAMILY?
I think my mother does. Because she works in and out of the home and handles all of the finance business for my family.
6. HOW MANY ROOMS DO YOU HAVE TO SLEEP IN?
There are 5 rooms to sleep in. My parents' room, my room, my grandmother's room, my uncle's room and my grandfather's room (used to).

HOMEWORK - Working with Different Cultures
WHAT KIND OF WORK PLACE DO YOU THINK U WILL WORK BEST?
England is the best plase to work for me.
Cause i want to drink my love British ale with my friends or co-workers at a pub after 5. It is surely difficult to do that in Japan that is well-known as working overtime. I really need fun time or to rest everyday. And I think all of Japanese should have more rest, othe countries consistentry point out most Japanese work too much as well.

HOMEWORK - My Ideal Partner
This is a pie of my ideal partner's characteristics.
These 4 things are mainly important:
PERSONALITY we can often hear 'asplitting up cause of a personal conflict', so personality is important.
LOOKS i do not want to introduce my pertner to my friends if his looks is bad.
MENTALITY it is necessary for my partner, but i cannot explain well why it is.
MONEY it does not mean i am not interested in marrying a rich guy. i just want to say that we cannot live without money if here is a big love..
